Job Overview: * Collaborate with product Manager and engineering to conceptualize and develop a deep understanding of customers, both internal and external, identify gaps in core product functionality, and help build the right set of features and then track adoption
* Gather detailed functional requirements, identify feature details and document them (PRD: product requirement document) to support rapid development (specifications, schedules, etc.) and effectively manage trade-offs between cost/schedule versus customer benefit.
* Ensure PRDs, flow diagrams and wireframes are properly translated to the live site and drive problem resolution once the new feature has gone live.
* Engage in strategic creative direction to describe copy and visual design strategy for product and marketing communication
* Define and conduct market research to gain knowledge about user behavior and competition. Gather information and data from multiple sources (consumer research, partners, vendors, competitive analysis), develop insights, and translate findings into action.
* Provide analytics based insights to improve marketing teams capability to calculate return on marketing investments and optimize marketing spend.
* Working with support teams to manage operational issues such as legal compliance, fulfillment, managing relationships with external partners and champion customer satisfaction by working with customer support to oversee customer grievance resolution and trouble shooting in case of escalations.

Desired Skills: * Ideal candidate would have a techno-business background (education or work experience) with 0-5 years work experience.
* Bachelors in IT/CS/Engineering or a degree in Business /Eco/Stats is desirable. BA/BSc/BComs from top institutes are also encouraged to apply.
* A high level of interest and passion for consumer internet world will be a necessary criterion. Collaboration, passion and user advocacy are a must!
* Demonstrate competence in user-centered design methods, systematically gathering data, interpreting the results, identify product opportunities, pain-points and creatively solving product & process challenges.
* Ability or experience in writing business requirements, functional specifications, performing systems analysis and other functions in a way that enables data-driven improvisation iterations.
* Be able to work with cross-functional teams, interface with various support function teams such as technology, marketing, sales, customer support, legal and accounting.
* Distinctive problem solving and Quantitative analytical abilities. Would rather use Excel than Word.
* Strong attention to detail and master in thorough and structured thought process.
* Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced unstructured environment with dynamic changing priorities. Willingness and comfort in acting on incomplete knowledge.
* Well-organized, ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, stretch resources and compresses time
* Solid interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Easily trainable, listens well, picks hints with ease, allows self to be influenced by others’ ideas and be able to work with minimal supervision
* Should be very curious, specifically about how users think, how products work and latest developments in design, usability and technology
