BC Web Wise launches Online Movie Marketing Division

04 March, 2009
Mumbai-based interactive agency BC Web Wise has launched its movie marketing division which will offer a range of products and services including virals, games, Facebook and Orkut applications, web videos and user interface design to give a 360 degree digital approach to movie marketing.

According to the company, its film marketing portfolio currently includes some of the Bollywood’s biggest names in movie production, including Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC), Yash Raj Films, Red Chillies Entertainment and Mumbai Mantra.

“The inception of the division actually is a natural outcome,” Chaya Brian Carvalho, CEO, BC Web Wise, has said, “Having worked already with several powerful, big banner production houses, we have a greater understanding of movie marketing intricacies, needs and limitations. A specialized division as this one will only add greater value to existing clients as well as execute small to large budget marketing needs for untapped clients.”

BC Web Wise claims to have already successfully promoted movies like ‘Billu Barber’ from Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Sorry Bhai’ from Mumbai Mantra, ‘Roadside Romeo’ from Yash Raj Films, and ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’, ‘Just Married’, ‘Raat Gayi Baat Gayi’, ‘Meerabai Not Out’ and ‘Ugly aur Pagli’ from Pritish Nandy Communications.

Great Stuff!

I would say a wonderful thing to do actually- A division handling just movie marketing on the digital sphere.

Productisation of the services was very much needed in the online marketing industry.

Cheers!
