Bharti Airtel launches mobile applications store Airtel App Central

Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched Airtel App Central, a mobile applications store that will allow Airtel mobile customers to access over 1250 apps across 25 categories for their business, games, books, social networking and other needs. According to the company, these apps are available for download on more than 550 compatible devices.
Airtel mobile customers can access the apps by visiting Airtel Live on their mobile phone and browse into App Central or SMS app to 54321 to receive the URL. According to the company, one need not use a credit card to purchase the app as the cost is automatically added to the customer’s mobile bill or deducted from his available talk-time.
