Consim Info launches matrimonial magazine BharatMatrimony Times for NRIs in US
06 November, 2008
Consim Info , which runs matrimony portal BharatMatrimony.com, has launched BharatMatrimony Times, a monthly matrimonial magazine for non-resident Indians living in US. According to Consim Info, the magazine will cover wedding related news, views and trends. It will also feature articles on relationships and wedding planning and interviews with successful couples and wedding experts.
“We want to celebrate the romance of marriage among the NRI community in the US through our monthly magazine BharatMatrimony Times,” Murugavel Janakiraman, founder and CEO, Consim Info, has told IANS . Janakiraman expects the magazine to generate advertisement revenue of Rs 5 lakh per issue.
Consim Info plans to distribute free 20,000 copies per month through direct mail, restaurants, shops and other outlets frequented by NRIs in the East and West Coast of the US. The company has also decided to stop its tabloid Desi Match. “Desi Match didn't add value to our main brand. But we gained the much needed experience in coming out with a focussed publication,” Janakiraman has said.

This is a new innitiative taken by Consin Info. There is a wide gap between the NRI living in US and Indians. They generally trust Indians as far as the matrimonial relation goes.I think this magazine will help in narrowing the gap between two , to a larger extent.
Online companies in india have finally matured and understood that they cannot make the mark unless they take the offline world along. Consim Info can now easily promote its online venture through the new matrimonial magazine.
