Expedia launches its travel management service Egencia in India

Travel management company Egencia , a part of US-based online travel company Expedia, has launched its services in India. Egencia India will be based in Gurgaon (Delhi/NCR) and will offer an integrated corporate travel service to businesses operating in the country.
Egencia India will also provide its clients access to an innovative suite of online booking and travel management tools, besides an extensive range of reports that enable travel managers to analyze business travel information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
“India is an important international business centre with a strong economy, which makes it an ideal market for Egencia’s superior corporate travel management services,” Pam Keenan Fritz, vice president, Asia-Pacific, Egencia, has said. “This expansion adds another important piece to Egencia’s global presence, further demonstrating our ability to help companies around the world control costs without sacrificing service to their business travellers.”
