Galileo launches travel related podcast service in India
06 June, 2008
Galileo, a global travel technology solutions provider, has launched Galileo Podcast, an internet radio service in India. In the inaugural podcast, Amitabh Khosla, country director for IATA (International Air Transport Association) in India, has shared his thoughts on 100 per cent e-ticketing.
“Galileo Podcast would be for the industry and by the industry. It will ensure that the monthly topics touches the travel and aviation community directly, hence the selection of e-ticketing as the first message,” Bruce Hanna, president and CEO, InterGlobe Technology Quotient, a strategic business unit of InterGlobe and the official distributor of Galileo in India, has said. "
One can’t keep on doing the same stuff over and over again across all kinds of brands. Every brand has a unique feature and this needs to be attributed through innovative marketing initiatives. Unless the people working in this medium can innovate, spends will not grow on internet. "
Technically it looks like this is just web audio since you don't seem to be able to subscribe using a podcast aggregator like iTunes. You can only subscribe by email.
