Google looking to hire more people in India

Notwithstanding the current economic slowdown, Google India is looking to hire more people. According to Google, India has been a growth market for the company and is likely to offer consistent growth even in the future.

Google has also said that its ad revenues from India have not been impacted by the current slowdown. “It's an environment which reminds you that you have to be vigilant about being as productive as possible and we are doing that,” Shailesh Rao, managing director, Google India, has said.
