India Fashion Week preparing for live webcast
04 February, 2010
The organisers of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, to be held in Delhi on 24-28 March 2010, are planning to live webcast the event to reach millions of people instead of a select few. Though the details are yet to be finalised, YouTube may be used as the online platform to live webcast the event.
“We want the event to reach millions of people instead of a select few. Our reach has to be wider -- it’s good for both the designers and the sponsors. We will soon finalise how and where we will live stream,” Sunil Sethi, president, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), has said. [Source: Hindustan Times]

One can’t keep on doing the same stuff over and over again across all kinds of brands. Every brand has a unique feature and this needs to be attributed through innovative marketing initiatives. Unless the people working in this medium can innovate, spends will not grow on internet. "
