Malayala Manorama launches matrimonial portal m4marry.com

ManoramaOnline, the online division of Kerala-based Malayala Manorama Group, has launched a matrimonial portal m4marry.com for Keralites. ManoramaOnline already owns a shopping portal, ManoramaEMart.com, and is now looking at the real estate vertical.
Mariam Mathew, chief operating officer, ManoramaOnline, has said, “Classifieds has always been a revenue earner for our company and digital is the best media for classifieds.” Mathew claims that m4marry.com has received 55,000 registrations in its first month and she expects this figure to go up to 1.5 lakh in the next six months. One can’t keep on doing the same stuff over and over again across all kinds of brands. Every brand has a unique feature and this needs to be attributed through innovative marketing initiatives. Unless the people working in this medium can innovate, spends will not grow on internet. "
