Microsoft has launched Microsoft Hohm, an online home energy monitoring tool, available at MSHohm.ORCSWeb.com, which will enable consumers in US to gauge their usage and reduce consumption.
According to Microsoft, Hohm provides suggestions for energy conservation based on home energy input data and feedback contributed by users. The tool uses advanced analytics licensed from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the US Department of Energy.
“Microsoft Hohm demonstrates how a combination of advanced software and internet-based services can help people track, understand and manage their personal energy usage,” Craig Mundie, chief research and strategy officer, Microsoft, has said. [Source: Economic Times]

One can’t keep on doing the same stuff over and over again across all kinds of brands. Every brand has a unique feature and this needs to be attributed through innovative marketing initiatives. Unless the people working in this medium can innovate, spends will not grow on internet. "
