16 June, 2008
MoneyControl.com has said its ‘Markets on Mobile’ platform that offers stocks related information on GPRS-enabled mobile phones, has received 2,50,000 users within four months of its launch. According to MoneyControl, the features which garnered maximum popularity include Portfolio Service and Company Stock Quote page.

Neeraj Sanan, marketing head, Web18, which owns MoneyControl, has said “Due to changing lifestyles and more number of people on the move, we decided to enhance the experience for our users by offering MoneyControl.com on the mobile platform. "minimal activity"???? how do u define minimal activity? for 3 moonths, u had yr full screen text ad for mobile on portfolio log ins.initialy, one had to put in number to proceed. you had site interstiial on MC for so many days. i am not counting even banners. ia m sure that is like an oppurtunity loss for MC. if you total up the cost that would have been to other advertizers,it would never have been minimilistic. yr own inhouse banners have rulled MC since long. and now u hv stoped shoshkeel all togther, blaming other advertizers....Now minimilistic from what sense.lol
