MySpace India launches local hubs for Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore

Social networking site MySpace India has revamped its India specific section Indihub, which offers MySpace news, specials, videos, friends, cool tips and hot news on what is happening in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. The company has also launched local hubs for these three cities and plans to launch more regional hubs in the future.

Tarun Tripathi, director, marketing and content, MySpace India, has said, “With More than 50 per cent of MySpace users in India coming from these three metros, MySpace India will further endeavour to focus on local content and events to continue its journey towards representing the voice of Indian youth, and being the coolest place to make friends.”

Indihub is the first community of MySpace India and aims to represent the voice of talented youth in the country. “We also plan to make Indihub a single stop for users to update themselves on city specific happenings,” Deep Malhotra, director, sales and business development, MySpace India, has said. According to MySpace, Indihub currently has about two lakh members.
