MySpace launches self-serve ad platform MyAds
13 October, 2008
Social networking site MySpace has launched MyAds , a self-serve ad platform that allows small businesses and individuals to create their own banner ads and serve them on MySpace. The service also lets advertisers to decide who they want to target on MySpace and then track the results of the campaigns.
MySpace ads are charged on a cost-per-click basis. Ads are prioritized based on the maximum CPC rate stated by the advertiser as well as relative click information which means advertisers will pay less if their ads tend to be clicked on a lot. [Source: TechCrunch , BusinessWeek ]

it opens up an exciting platform for advertisers to reach out to. myspace, though is lesser used here, still is a great open community & the audience is a treat for advertisers to target.
Who the hell visits Myspace here in India? and why would someone advertise there???
The only saleable traffic is "NRI traffic from USA"
All those high profile hires can't bring in traffic. These guys cant do anything in this space.
Dhirender, please explain.. I cannot understand what you are saying
They also allow a pretty granular targeting of their users. They seem to have learned from both Facebook and Google.
