Naukri.com introduces a new section focusing on Rs 15 lakh plus jobs

23 December, 2009
Info Edge India’s job portal Naukri.com has introduced a new section called Rs 15 lakh plus jobs that focuses on premium jobs offering Rs 15 lakh or more annually. According to the company, most of the jobs in the new section are from high paying verticals like IT, financial services, banking and telecom.

“This specialised feature allows people with seven-eight years of work experience to find jobs besides offering them better hand holding,” Hitesh Oberoi, COO, Info Edge India, has said, adding, “Good jobs were getting lost as job matching was not proper.” [Source: Business Standard]

@internetwalla, valid points.

Introduction of '15 lakh+ jobs' is nothing but making searching for these jobs quicker and so I think its not a game changer in terms of Naukri's revenues.

If Naukri is going to get more job info from the employers for the '15 lakh+ jobs' category or do targeted marketing for job seekers in this salary range, yes, then this feature may add to the bottom line.

@guest thanks chief, now that you have told me to grow up i will just grow up. just one small regret why didn't you tell me to become a billionaire, that would have made me a little richer :-)
also, could you please let me know how one can look at the future or even at the present without looking at the past... after all you do need to pull the string backward before you shoot an arrow, no?
you may not believe me but i do love naukri for at least inspiring a lot of other online entrepreneurs with its hugely successful IPO, but that still does not change my judgement or scepticism about the success of this new feature...
wish i am proved wrong about my scepticism, but for that we will have to wait for a year or so to see the result. let’s see
