Nautanki.tv partners with Times Now to launch online news channel

20 November, 2008
Online video channel Nautanki.tv, in partnership with English news channel Times Now, has launched an online news channel, called Times Now, on its site. According to Nautanki.tv, the new Times Now online news channel will have three shows including Times Now’s flagship primetime show The Newshour, which is hosted by Arnab Goswami.

The other Times Now shows currently featuring on Nautanki.tv are No Full Stops, a weekly wellness guide which focuses on ways to start living healthy, and The Foodie, a food cum travel show hosted by Kunal Vijayakar. Times Now also plans to expand its offering for the Nautanki.tv users in the coming weeks.

Sunil Nair, CEO, Nautanki.tv Networks, has said, “With Times Now available on the widgets at places where the internet audience already exists would mean greater dissemination of news to a wired generation leading to the birth of a new exciting opportunity for advertisers who wish to target this audience with their TVCs.”

Launched in November 2006, Nautanki.tv offers TV channels, content producers and film makers a way to bring their shows, movies and clips to Nautanki.tv and other online destination sites via a network of over 6000 widgets placed on its partner websites. Recently, Virtual Marketing India (Hungama.com), made a strategic investment in Nautanki.tv.
