Navedas Technology launches job site for Indian women, NaukriForWomen.com

31 December, 2008
Bhubaneswar-based Navedas Technology Solutions, which had earlier launched a women focused portal MemSaab.com, has now launched NaukriForWomen.com, a career website targeted specifically at the Indian women.

According to Navedas Technology Solutions, NaukriForWomen.com has a special section where women can find ‘part time’ work, ‘flexi time’ options or ‘work from home’ jobs. This section, according to the company, is aimed at women who have little children and families to take care of and cannot afford to work full time.

For the women who care about social issues like education and health for slum children, vaccination of stray dogs and care for the elderly, NaukriForWomen.com would have a separate listing of ‘volunteer jobs’ where one can find jobs with NGOs and other social and government organizations.

“Since NaukriForWomen has just been launched, users may not find too many job advertisements on the site,” Navedas Technology Solutions has said. “But more and more employers are signing up every day, so there is no doubt that there will be many more jobs for them to browse, very soon.”
