NDTV ties-up with TutorVista to launch NDTVTutor.com

NDTV Convergence , the digital arm of NDTV Group, has partnered with online tutoring company TutorVista to launch NDTVTutor.com . The new site, being managed by TutorVista, is aimed at providing online tutorials to NDTV’s Indo-American users.
“About 30 per cent of our entire user base is from the US and we are focussed to create a product for our Indo-American audiences so that they can leverage the services of TutorVista through NDTV,” Sanjay Trehan, CEO, NDTV Convergence, has told AlooTechie.
As per the deal, NDTV will generate a significant amount of traffic to TutorVista.com and will be paid by TutorVista on the basis of per customer acquisition. “This tie up is basically a marketing strategy of TutorVista and a revenue generating move for NDTV,” informed Trehan.
Speaking about promoting NDTVTutor.com, Sanjay Trehan said, “We have not launched any campaigns as yet. However, we do have plans to promote our brand purely through online campaigns as we will have to attract eyeballs in the US.”
