Ratnakar Bharti joins Ideacts Innovations as Head of Sales

Ideacts Innovations has appointed Ratnakar Bharti as head of sales. Prior to joining Ideacts Innovations, Bharti was director, media sales, West at Rediff.com. According to Ideacts, its co-founder and current head of sales Saurabh Khullar will move as head of marketing and will work towards structuring and building the new business initiatives at the company.
Rudrajeet Desai, co-founder and CEO, Ideacts Innovations, has said, “Since Ideacts’ inception in 2007, we have made commendable progress by providing strong value propositions to brand advertisers and marketers through the Clinck Desktop. Ratnakar brings with him deep knowledge and vital specialization in the internet domain that will greatly complement Ideacts’ business goals and vision.”
Ideacts Innovations has so far raised $8 million in two rounds of funding from Silicon Valley Bank and Sequoia Capital. The company has developed a desktop interface application Clinck targeted at cyber cafes users. According to Ideacts, the company currently has a network of over 4000 cyber cafes and more than 22,000 terminals.
Ideacts also claims that its desktop application Clinck has already run more than 250 campaigns for advertisers across sectors attracting over 110 brands including Cadbury, Pepsi, Axe, Orbit, Bacardi, White Mischief, Yamaha, Chevrolet, Fast Track, Nike, Lifestyle, Blackberry, Nokia, Dell, Airtel and Intel.
