RelocateEasily.com offers relocation services to tenants in Bangalore

03 June, 2009
by Satrajit Sen

RelocateEasily.com, launched by a team of three IIT Madras graduates, allows users to search for rental property in Bangalore and also avail various relocation services such as getting movers and packers, a cooking gas connection or even a cable TV connection. The company also allows users to directly interact with its officials through chat, mail or phone call.

The portal charges 20 days of rent as service fee and levies an additional fee on the rest of the services availed by the tenants. Property owners need to pay a charge only after the company has helped in renting or selling the property, according to Sudarshan Purohit, founder and CEO, RelocateEasily.com.

While talking about the idea behind launching RelocateEasily.com, Purohit told AlooTechie, “When we moved to Bangalore to join our first jobs, we were hit by the problems of settling down in the city and finding an apartment. Overall there was no one to guide us and help us while relocating. All the existing relocation firms served the high end executives and tried to squeeze out every single penny they could. We saw the opportunity and we jumped into it.”

RelocateEasily.com is also planning to introduce a feature where information on offers running in the nearby showrooms of an apartment would be displayed. In addition, an online rent payment channel would also be added.

“We also have done an on ground and off ground survey to find out the best brands for household amenities in the market and the dealers who provide these brands at best prices. We have a tie-up with these dealers and we can directly provide anything in our list at the tenant’s doorstep with a good discount. We also have our own lawyers who take care of all the legal papers like rental agreement and bond papers,” added Sudarshan Purohit.

According to Purohit, RelocateEasily.com has attracted about 5,000 registered property seekers since its launch in March 2009. The business is self-funded and is managed by a team of 18 people based in Bangalore. Purohit further informs that “Once we are ready with our entire system, we will move to the next city. Our next target is Pune and Hyderabad within a year's time.”

I moved to Bangalore a week ago. Got to know about relocateeasily.com from aloo techie and contacted them for my relocation.

I can't believe why somebody didn't come up with such an idea before.
They made my life so much easier here. I didn't have to bother about anything . . rt from my ticket booking, to movers & packers, getting a 2BHK house, internet fridge...everything..

Great response and all lively people in their office.
Though these guys are a few months old, I can see them as a successful company.

Best of luck from my side..
