Sidin Vadukut named Managing Editor, LiveMint.com

HT Media has named Sidin Sunny Vadukut as managing editor of LiveMint.com, the online edition of its business daily Mint. Vadukut will replace Durga Raghunath who is leaving to join WSJ India as editor, mobile and digital product development, reports ContentSutra.
“Sidin, a staff writer at Lounge (Mint‘s weekend supplement), has written extensively on a range of subjects including technology, authors one of LiveMint’s most popular blogs -- Playthings -- and also writes a column for the edit pages,” R Sukumar, managing editor, Mint, has written in an email sent to Mint staff.

One can’t keep on doing the same stuff over and over again across all kinds of brands. Every brand has a unique feature and this needs to be attributed through innovative marketing initiatives. Unless the people working in this medium can innovate, spends will not grow on internet. "
