Three world famous magicians were in the bar drinking and boasting
about their achievements.

The first one said," During my latest show, I made three women from
the audience disappear, it was so convincing that their relatives
started panicking, no one could find the trick"

The second one said, " Hey, that is nothing, during one of my open air
shows I made the Municipality building disappear and the entire town
was searching for it"

The third one sighed and said," Both of you are so local, I went to
Paris and made the Eiffel Tower disappear for a full one hour, it was
live on the TV, entire France was searching for the building & no one
had a clue".

Just then an Indian walked into the bar and the three magicians
suddenly turned quiet, gave each other fugitive glances and started to
slip towards the door.

A Bartender watching this got curious and asked one of the magicians,
"Hey what happened ? Who is that guy ? "

One of the magicians whispered, "He is the World's greatest magician,
he has done the biggest disappearing trick of all times, we are all
mere amateurs compared with what he has done. His name is Ramalinga
Raju. He has made USD 1.5 billion disappear from his company's balance
sheet in front of everyone's eyes, and the entire world is still
looking for it "

Dear Mr Murugan,

The "Titanic" that is Bharatmatrimony, has a lot of passengers... and many a lovely couples which come aboard with a hope of finding the warmth and the comfort as the ship sails through cold waters.

It is just the two dedicated souls manning the stern atop the shp keeping watch .. bearing the winter chill... on the look out for the perils of the sea.. just so the 'passengers' are safe and secure.... and finaly reach their destination.....

And suddenly, ..."Ahoy ! Iceberg ahead ....."

would u NOT consider the duty bound responsible workers plea ? is it not the 'unconditional faith' of your team that you have worked hard to build this 'titanic' ??

why then would you blame them when they can forsee the danger and you are still prudish of your ships architecture?

Life is a journey... never a destination.

... as always the captain of the ship goes down last .. alongwith the ship...

would your inner hurt be so bad that you edify the Samurai and perform your inner harakiri ??

when all that needs to be done is re-live the past when the passion, and zeal initiated the inception of the initiative. All bigs things begin small..and all small things have an emotional component to it ...

What really went wrong ??
Arent we glad we are JUST HUMANS !

How do you expect me to belive in your business model when your personal model failed ???

A Customer of bharatmatrimony

Just for people of this organization, I want to tell you guys. After closing down of Delhi unit there was no drinking water & light for 20 days and the management dint consider it important and said that should not hamper sales. So Consimites decide for yourself.

All that has been said here is the frustration. Whoever is reading this must know. All due respect to Mr. Muruga, I dont think he even knows what his COO/CMO/CFO..all the Cs are doing.

This has to be the end of era for this organization. It has suffered enough damage with its Senior Management exit and just imagine the Mid & Junior Level exit as well. The company is certainly going in drains making severe losses. And Mr.M says some will be asked to leave? That throws a lot of question about the internal problem that the company is facing. From all that I see, its a total management failure and very soon you will see shutters being pulled down.

When this venture took the birth from a room in USA but it was actually moved in your right direction at right time only and each eye had witnessed the growth we made which cannot be repeated,we opened from 1 BMC to 100 and now they are coming in descending order because of some pathetic decisions were made and now again the whole rosy enterprise will be coming back to the same room from where the journey was started.

I told you sometime back

Life is a Bob Dylan Song, even for dying dotcoms and their owners...

Once upon a time you dressed so fine
You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didnt you?
Peopl called, say, beware doll, youre bound to fall
You thought they were all kiddin you
You used to laugh about
Everybody that was hangin out
Now you dont talk so loud
Now you dont seem so proud
About having to be scrounging for your next meal.

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be without a home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?

why do dotcoms need so many ppl??
They r bound to fail.
Shaadi.com, bharatmatrimoni ,jeevansaathi or simplymarry are stupid sites and have no future.
Why do the ppl need to pay when u can get tons of friends in facebook, myspace etc.. for free
If u cant find your spouse there then u r not fit to marry...
these sites might be relevent today but not in next 10 years.
And any idea which is not for the future will never get huge valuations...

Everyone makes mistakes, even in this case consim indeed made some fatal mistakes by hiring from failed dotcom companies like indiamart, itpeople etc. i'm sure he got mislead by thr miscalculations n judgements in stratedy and vision. pls get rid of them first, if they are still thr on board and hire ppl from non-internet background, who will bring a new direction.

Muruga is a self made internet icon, which indian internet is proud of. i'm sure he will not get affected by all ths rapid exits and all. he still has got his cash cow intact, which will feed his 1000 member family for next decade.

Once he gets rid of all of the above. Mr. M will be left all alone with vultures, since the good ones have already left him.

Is this the beginning of the end? Somehow, going by the list of people who have quit, mentioned above,it looks like a lot of key members of the team have quit. That is not a nice sign for any organization. There is something called as continuity, there is something called carrying forward a thought, if the management thinks they can get away with shoddy replacements, then I am sure they they are in for a big shock soon. End of the day, it is the people who make the difference to an organization. You are known by the people you have... This is not great news for a company or the products they are planning develop. This is also bad news as far as the IPO or valuation game goes.

Shaadi.com, jeevansathi.com have been clear in what they want to communicate and I think have been fairly successful in doing so. Their valuation speaks for itself... Indiaproperty.com has a pathetic db. Search for something, it throws up something else all together. clickjob.com never really took off... whatever little people tried to do,I presume, was hijacked. Key people missing is showing big time boss. It's time, Mr. Janakiram, understands, that there are a few people in every organisation who are indespensible... treat them right and you will reap the benefits! Look at Hitesh Oberoi for e.g., besides, there are other things too that are awfully wrong... communication over all sucks... the interface now absolutely sucks! I am told that Mr. Janakiram, is not involved in product development anymore, and it shows, I suppose. People developing the product now seem to have no clue about the category and therefore all the shoddy work. In fact, this is something I have always been curious about; don't the investors get involved here? Aren't they missing the point? If something has worked in the past, and they have taken a decision to invest in this company, they have a winning formula, so now why reinvent? Why allow all this crap? Only time will tell I suppose...
