Webdunia launches professional networking site for doctors, Jivisha.com

Indian language portal Webdunia.com has launched Jivisha.com, a professional networking site for doctors and health care professionals. According to the company, Jivisha.com will also enable doctors to create a personalized website and share its URL with others. Jivisha also aims to serve as a lifeline for general public to interact with specialized doctors and get support from them online.

Pankaj Jain, president and COO, Webdunia, has said, “Social networking popularized by teens, who share information and interests with online friends is now getting in to targeted niches of specific professionals and executives. Through Jivisha, Webdunia has launched a gateway for doctors and health care professionals where they can manage relationships and not mere do communication.”

“We are working towards a future where every common man can directly interact with specialized doctors in seconds. They can use forums and queries to get free doctors advice, discuss and find best solutions for heath issues. Our medical news section will keep doctors updated with latest happenings in the field of medical science,” Pankaj Jain has added.

Social networking sites are now moving to niche segments and webdunia has come up with the right move of starting jivisha.com for doctors. this will definitely attract lot of professionals and it will be really great if jivisha maintatins the professionals attaced to their website.
