Online travel company Yatra.com has introduced a reimbursement policy under which the company promises to offer air travellers a compensation of Rs 200 for all domestic flight delays of over 20 minutes in India.
According to Yatra.com, the compensation could be availed by all travellers irrespective of the fact where they had booked the tickets and not necessarily the Yatra.com users. The compensation amount would be paid in form of discount that can be availed by the traveller during his subsequent booking through Yatra.com.
Dhruv Shringi, co-founder and CEO, Yatra.com, has said, “This unique service is for all those air travellers, who are often left stranded at the airport for irregular weather conditions, traffic or technical snag.”
As per the reimbursement policy, customer needs to SMS ‘DELAY’ followed by the PNR number to 52622 to get the compensation code. To redeem this code, it needs to be typed in the ‘Promotion Code’ field while making the next domestic flight booking with Yatra.com.

I think the second and the third screen will play an important role in building brands and consumer loyalty going forward. You watch the first screen (TV) from a distance, look into the second screen (PC) from nearer distance (two feet away) and then you have your third screen (mobile) with you 24 x 7 and very close to you. How effectively you use these third and second screens is the way forward for any brand. "
