Zapak partners with Pringoo to offer gaming merchandise on Shopping.Zapak.com

08 December, 2008
Gaming portal Zapak.com , a Reliance ADA (Anil Dhirubhai Ambani) Group venture, has partnered with Pringoo.com , an online marketplace that offers e-commerce services to individuals, organizations and businesses to create, buy and sell customized merchandise online.

According to Zapak, the partnership will enable its shopping portal Shopping.Zapak.com to offer a host of merchandise such as T-shirts, mugs and soft toys built around its games on offer. The deal will also allow Zapak users to customize exiting design of the product and then buy it.

Rohit Sharma, chief operating officer, Zapak Digital Entertainment, has said, “Zapak has pioneered the online gaming revolution in India by taking gaming to the masses. This association with Pringoo takes us one more step closer to our gamers. The users can now show the true gamer in him or her self by flaunting their favourite games on their t-shirts, mugs etc. This we believe will take the ecosystem of gaming a step further.”

Jai Kumar, co-founder, Pringoo, has added, “This partnership is very important as Zapak is looking at merchandising revenues in order to push growth and is expecting 25 per cent of its turnover to come from this new segment. Pringoo will use its expertise in this segment with a dedicated community of creative designers to actively contribute in their strategy.”

Now that the website business is failing Zapak is now trying to launch different things so that they do not drown. They even closed some of their offices as a result of heavy losses and now trying to show profit and fool management.
I am really amazed how the talented product, engineering people have managed to fool the management all the years now and become flop show.
Jai Kumar will drown with Zapak people.
