TradeCracker.com launched to help users learn all about share trading

11 March, 2008
Mumbai-based Global TradeCracker has launched TradeCracker.com, an online financial trading simulator that aims to help users learn all about the share market through mock trading before they enter real-time trade.

TradeCracker.com allows users to create their own mock portfolio and have mock trading sessions online with the real market stocks and prices. Users would also be able to practise and develop trading strategies by using mock money in a realistic financial environment before risking their money in the real trading, reports Economic Times.

Vaibhav Morarka, director, Global TradeCracker, has said, “TradeCracker integrates information technology and finance to create a simulated trading floor, where financial instruments such as stocks, futures and options, commodities and mutual funds are traded using mock money, thus helping the students to have a feel of real time market scenario.”

Well to small retail investor a person who wants to invest his money in stocks but does not know much about stocks should also be considered as a student. But the price charged by tradecracker is too expensive. People can still use other free products available to educate themselves.

Also, there is no guarantee that a person who has made money through "mock money" will also make money with "real money" in real market scenario.

It is ok for students who just want to have a hang of real markets scenarios provided they can afford this costly service.
