StudyPlaces.com launched to help students select right course for further study

StudyPlaces, a global education information provider based in US, has launched an online education information portal that aims to help students find, compare, evaluate and then select the right course, institute and country for their further study.

According to the company, StudyPlaces.com provides information about more than 2,00,000 courses from 10,000 colleges across the globe including universities in India, US, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada and the Middle East.

StudyPlaces.com has a team of 20 counsellors who try to help students in making the right career choice by using various tools such as psychometric tests to ascertain students’ aptitude and interests. Students can also take scientifically designed test to discover their aptitude and true potential making it easier for them to choose most suitable career option, the company has said.

The website also offers information on fee structures, expenses involved, life on campus and the application procedure. Students can also take online practice tests for various entrance exams like SAT, PMT, GRE, AIEEE, GMAT, IIT-JEE, TOEFL and AIEEE.

Vivek Gupta, VP, business operations and strategy, StudyPlaces.com, has said, “For long we looked at engineering and medicine as the only two career options available for a brighter future. Those students who could not make it to these disciplines were used to be uncertain about their future. For lack of information, students were unable to explore other career options. We help to provide information on various other lucrative career options available to a student based on his or her aptitude, interest, and skills set.”

StudyPlaces.com is funded by Kleiner Perkins, Caufield & Byers (KPCB), Ram Shriram’s Sherpalo Ventures, and Info Edge (the Naukri.com group). The other investors are Nikesh Arora, president, ENEA Operations and vice president, Google Inc and Sanjiv Ahuja, former CEO of Orange.

There is nothing special about studyplaces. The site is full of copy pasted content and the product is horrible..... best of luck...

I believe Studyplaces.com will definitely help we students remove our vicious confusion in regards to what stream, which course, which Institute/ College and if so then which part of the world should we study from to make a secured and successful career.
So my dear student friends, Let's not worry anymore about our education as we can 100% rely on the only best Education guidance provider to solve our purpose of successful career in future.

I visitied Study Places website on regular basis and the kind of information I do get there is really amazing. They are doing the great job in helping students for their career.

Study Places is a good site. They have got basic things right to do business in India.
I am sure soon they will try to grow horizontaly and present themselves as Education Portal. which shall have subscription model as well. ... My guess...
