Indyarocks launches mobile optimized platform m.Indyarocks.com

Social networking site Indyarocks.com has gone mobile with the launch of its mobile optimized platform that can be accessed at m.Indyarocks.com (simulator available at iPhonetester.com).
According to Indyarocks, the mobile optimized platform offers all the popular features of the online version like profiles, people search, friends requests and additions, graffiti wall, private messaging, group and individual SMS, ping a user from mobile, personal online diary, movie show-times, movie wallpapers and synopsis of recent movie.
Kalyan Manyam, head of operations, Indyarocks.com, has said, “We are excited about the launch as it is a major move towards achieving our vision to provide a compelling on the move social and entertainment environment for Indians.”
Indyarocks also plans to introduce the friend updates feature, which was recently launched for the online version, to the mobile platform. “By the end of 2008, we will enrich the mobile platform with more entertainment and media services,” Kalyan Manyam has said.
This is great, use of internet being used from Mobile in India is increasing these days.
Mobile is portable device. You can't ignore it's importance for internet browsing world for today's generation, now the flight tickets can be book through mobile as well

Everything now is mobile. Mobile is the next computer with internet access. I wish I could get a statistics on how many people access the sites through mobile than through a PC.
